Christmas Concert 2016

News Update Posted on 16 Jan, 2017 13:43

Happy New Year everyone.

The very first concert C Natural did raised £40 and at the time I was over the moon with that as I never thought we’d make anything to be able to donate it but if you compare that to the Christmas concert we have just done – we raised £280! I genuinely can’t believe the support of all our students and I am proud of each and everyone of you for performing in the concert so well!

We’ve decided that the orchestra sounded so good at the end of last term that we’re going to keep them together from now on, so the rehearsals will be 12:30-2:00 (still at Stoke Minster Primary) for both groups and if we need separate practice we’ll take you all off in sectionals.

We’re also trying to promote the groups as much as possible, but if anyone has any ideas what we can do to promote it more, please let us know. Even better if you yourselves can do anything to promote the ensemble then that would be even more helpful.

Summer Concert 2015

Concert Posted on 05 Jul, 2015 20:44

The 3rd C Natural concert was held at Penkhull Village Hall and I’m so proud that everyone stood up and played really confidently! We also managed to raise a massive £100 profits which was donated to the PDSA, a charity very close to my heart.

Thanks go to Pam, who very kindly turned up with a raffle which she donated all the prizes and money. Sue and Tony who helped with the refreshments and stood on the door, Jodie and Ash who played alongside their students and Jamie who took the amazing photographs (anyone who wants a copy of their relations let me know and I’ll email them to you!)

Keep your eye out for the next concert which should be Christmas sometime.

During half term I went down to the PDSA and donated the £40 profits from the Christmas concert! I am really proud of all my students that took part and I really look forward to the summer concert.

Not only that but I had a lovely email from the PDSA via twitter to thank C Natural for their donation!

News Update Posted on 23 Feb, 2015 14:22

I had a very excited interview with the crew from ‘Reels In Motion’ to promote the SpeedPlus scheme, I’m really looking forward to seeing the video, but it was even more exciting to receive and email to say that I had “inspired the camera team” as the cameraman spend “about an hour listening to Einaudi” and the lady that interviewed me bought the book! It’s fantastic to hear that I’m not just inspiring my students!
